ttStats is an ever growing platform. We not only track the songs you play in your room, but we also have an API for Turntable.fm 3^rd party developers to use and take full advantage of our information. Below are some common questions we get asked and their subsequent answers.

• What information do the bots collect?

  Refer to our What Information We Collect page for more details.

• Do the bots have any commands?

  Yes! There are several commands you can issue to the bots and they will respond with a specific answer.

  Commands:

  • /lastseen (or /lastplayed) — Will tell you the last time the currently playing song was seen in the room.
  • /firstseen (or /firstplayed) — Will tell you the first time the currently playing song was played in the room.

• Why doesn't the bot come into my room?

  ttStats bots will visit any room on Turntable.fm with 5 or greater listeners. If your room meets this requirement, but you have not seen a ttStats bot in a day or more, then your room may be on the Do Not Disturb list, which means our bots will never visit the room.

• How many times must bots be kicked from the room until they stop coming back?

  ttStats bots will not return to a room after 2 boots within a single hour. If this happens, then the room in question will be put on our 24-hour DND List. As the name implies, the bots will not visit the room again for 24 hours.

  If you are the room owner and would like to keep the bots out of your room permanently, then you may fill out the Room Opt-Out Request Form.

• Does ttStats record and upload my playlists automatically?

  ttStats User Playlists feature is an opt-in only program, meaning you will have to upload your playlists yourself to the site in order for anyone to see them.

  We value your privacy, and people whom do not wish to contribute to the website can opt-out at any time.
